Well arguably this took a bit longer than expected, but I'm happy to report that painted miniatures have started to roll off the production line.
Given that the new paint set was purchased from the War Games Foundry it only seemed right that the first miniature to be painted would be one of their sculpts. Luckily I had one lying around - an orc I seem to recall I gained as a freebie somewhere along the line.
Overall I'm quite pleased with how this came out. The facial features could be better, as could the blue coat (somewhat hidden in the pic). But given that this was the first miniature painted in about two years - no major complaints!
